Here we have a small journey through my interpretation of tekno.

These tracks were produced with the concept “early morning festival hypnosis” in mind. These are tracks for the soldiers who remain once the birds start chirping. Meditative, yet charging.

Incantation III features calls from Tūī, Kākāpō, Kea, and Ruru. Incantation IV features sounds from the Kākā, and Kiwi.

The backdrop to Incantation IV is a recording of my footsteps from Tāwharanui Regional Park, one of the rare areas in which Kiwi can be found. On slide 7 there’s a small video of a kākā from the same trail the recordings were taken.
